Summer is still going strong, but here at Saint Peter's we are already looking forward to the start of our program year! Please join us on Sunday, September 11 for "Welcome Back Sunday," when our Sunday School, Wee Believers service (9am in the Chapel) and other important ministries reboot for the new year!

Dear Members of the Saint Peter's Parish Family,
The Vestry of Saint Peter's Church is inviting everyone to a LUNCH and OPEN DISCUSSION meeting to will take place on Sunday, September 18th in the Undercroft right after the 10am service. We will be serving a light lunch (a variety of sandwiches, salads, drinks and dessert) provided by the Vestry. Childcare will be provided for the Discussion part of the meeting.

Besides wanting to have a get-together for us all to welcome the new season, the vestry is providing an opportunity where we can share ideas and concerns about our church life together.

You will find a Suggestion Box at the front entrance of the church for anyone who wants to share comments and questions for the vestry to address. Anonymity will be respected if desired. The vestry members will review entries in advance and address them at the meeting on the 18th. There will also be an Open Mic at the meeting where additional comments and queries can be offered.

You are also welcome to email your ideas and questions in advance of the meeting to Caroline Medina.

Please submit your suggestion via the box or email no later than Monday, September 12.

Our greatest hope is that all will participate to develop stronger and more supportive communication with each other and within Saint Peter's Church. We ARE the Body of Christ and seek to think, act and live in His Spirit of Truth, Love, Peace and Understanding.

May the Lord help us to become more like Him.

Look for the BOX and please plan on attending the lunch-meeting on September 18th.

Blessings to all,
Your Vestry
