Health
& Healing

This unique ministry realizes the fact that there is an interrelationship between a person's physical, mental and spiritual well-being. A registered nurse is on the parish staff to enhance the "whole" person health concept. This lay minister makes hospital, home and nursing home visits, provides periodic health screenings and acts as a general support person. The "Health Cabinet" is a committee of parishioners who coordinate the various health and healing ministries and seek to enhance the congregation's experience and awareness of the healing power of Jesus Christ through programs of discernment, education, and personal support.
